What is the humanization we aim for and will discuss?

Ours is a plural and welcoming humanization: plural because, in addition to emphasizing the importance of science in healthcare practices, whose importance we know and recognize, we also bring perspectives of social justice, equity, and mobilization and articulation, including pressing issues such as race, gender, disability, social status, and others that can determine the quality of care received. And it’s welcoming because, from our perspective, this humanization will be a social construct not only of healthcare professionals but also of legal professionals, journalists, lawmakers, mothers and fathers, digital influencers, sympathizers, as well as governmental and civil society organizations, national and international bodies, and anyone else who wishes to contribute to the advancement of the movement toward a fairer society!

Its goal is to share national and international experiences based on scientific evidence and the principles of humanization for professionals, users, and managers interested in the field of public health, reproductive rights, healthcare system management; prenatal, labor, birth and postpartum care.

This event aims to contribute to Brazil achieving the goals established in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3, which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all, focusing on reducing maternal and infant mortality. Additionally, the event also seeks to support Goal 5, which aims to achieve gender equality, empower women, and end discrimination, granting universal access to sexual and reproductive health.
