Welcome to the V International Conference on Humanization of Childbirth (V-CIHPN)
ReHuNa has worked for more than 30 years on the production and dissemination of the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations for care during pregnancy, labor and childbirth and evidence based care. Our mission is to promote, disseminate and promote the practice of humanized care for pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum in all its stages, from the woman’s, people with uterus’ and their family’s perspective. In so doing, also requiring the highest spirit of collaboration and a high ethical level from its members.
According to article 2 of our statute, “ReHuNa has as its primary objective THE DEFENSE OF SEXUAL, REPRODUCTIVE AND NEONATAL RIGHTS, the study, research, dissemination and teaching in the field of sexuality and human health from a holistic point of view, that is, taking into account the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of human sexuality in all cycles of life”.
Purpose of the Conference
The objective of the V International Conference on Humanization of Childbirth (V-CIHPN) is to share national and international experiences, on evidence based care and the principles of humanization of childbirth for professionals, consumers, activists and administrators in the fields of public health, reproductive rights, management of health services in prenatal, childbirth and postpartum care.
The V International Conference on Humanization of Childbirth will take place in person on February 24th to 28th, 2024 in Brasília; part of the event will be broadcast synchronously online.
Previous Conferences
The scientific events held prior to this 2024 conference are the four “International Conference on Humanization of Childbirth” (CIHPN):
I) In 2000, Fortaleza,
II) In 2005, Rio de Janeiro,
III) In 2010, Brasília,
IV) In 2016, Brasília, organized in close partnership with the University of Brasília (UNB) who provided venues for lectures and workshops, student participation as monitors and the participation of faculty members as organizers, speakers and members of the scientific committee.
